This book is about two sisters, Abby (Abigail) and Becky Reed. They're called The September Sisters cause even thought they are 2 years apart in age, they're only a day apart in September. They're always at each others throats. One night when they are in their pool, Abby gets mad and says "I hate you." and all Becky says is "So? I hate you too." That, is the last word Abby will hear ever Becky say. The next day, her parents tell Abby that Becky's missing. Now, her world is turned upside down. Her mom goes into depression. And now Abby has to spend most of her time with her next-door neighbor, Mrs. Ramirez. Are they ever going to find Becky? Will her mom come out of bed?
